  • We can work with clients that reside in Ontario as both Portia and Audrey are licensed with the CRPO.

    We can also provide therapy to anyone that resides in a provinces or territories that currently does not have regulated psychotherapy/counselling bodies.

    Please note that we are not able to offer direct billing to anyone living outside of ON.

  • A secure wifi connection, a private space, and a video-enabled device. Headphones are recommended.

  • In our 30-minute consultation, we’ll discuss what you’re struggling with, what’s brought you to seek therapy, and what your ideal outcomes are. You’ll have a chance to ask any questions and we’ll talk about how to best help you.

  • All information shared during sessions is kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone without your written consent, except in situations where disclosure is required by law. These exceptions include:

    1. Suspected child abuse or neglect involving a person who is currently under the age of majority.

    2. Imminent risk of serious harm to another person.

    3. Risk of serious self-harm where protective measures are necessary.

    4. Disclosure of sexual abuse by a regulated health professional (e.g., psychologist, physician, nurse), which must be reported to the appropriate regulatory body.

    5. Court orders or subpoenas requiring the release of records or testimony.

    6. Professional audits or reviews conducted by the regulatory college (i.e., the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario).

    These legal and ethical guidelines are in place to ensure your safety and the safety of others. If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, please don’t hesitate to ask.

  • We kindly request as much advance notice as possible when you need to cancel an appointment. Cancellations made at least 36 hours before your scheduled session can be done through your account login or by email, and will not incur any fee.

    Cancellations made with less than 36 hours’ notice — or missed appointments — will be billed at your regular session rate. This policy is in place because your appointment time is reserved specifically for you.

    If you arrive late to a session, please note that the session will still end at the originally scheduled time in order to respect the time of other clients.

  • At this time, we only offer virtual sessions via secure video Telehealth platform.

  • We are in the process of setting up direct billing to our Ontario-based clients. Once this is available we will let you know.

    If your insurance company is listed with our billing system we can set this up. Otherwise, if you are with a third party insurer, you will need to pay at the time of your session and claim the receipt with your insurance after.

    For clients outside of ON: we are unable to provide direct billing. Please confirm your insurance covers counselling/therapy with a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who are licensed with the CRPO in ON prior to our first session.

  • Our online booking system is available 24-7 and you can manage your sessions through your account login. You can view your therapist’s schedule by clicking here.

    If you are cancelling your session with more than 36 hours, you can also do this through your account page. If it is within the 36 hour cancellation window you will have to email your therapist directly and will be subject to our late cancellation policy.
